If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal at East Hanover Chiropractic & Wellness is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

Your First Visit
First, you will fill out initial paperwork if you haven’t completed it prior to your first appointment, which will consist of simple questions about your health history and current complaint. If you have any x-rays, MRIs, other imaging, or any other pertinent information please bring them with you to your appointment.
During your initial visit, our doctor will ask you questions about your complaint and perform orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests in order to better understand the natural of your condition. Please allow about an hour for your first visit to the office.
On your report visit, we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health during your second visit. We call this the Report of Findings.
The doctors will discuss with you their findings. A treatment plan will be developed specifically for you and your condition. Please allow about half an hour for this visit.
On a typical visit our friendly staff will greet you as you enter the office. Most patients are quickly moved to treatment rooms where they either have therapy or are promptly seen by either doctor. Most visits last approximately 10-15 minutes.
We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
